coriander
1. Related to parsley, coriander is an herb used for both its leaves and seeds. The leaves are known as cilantro, and are often used in Asian and Mexican cuisines. The seeds are small and tan in color, and can be used whole (e.g. in pickling spice) and ground (e.g. in curries, etc.).
