A general term describing a variety of hot and spicy, sauced dishes from India, Thailand, and other South and Southeast Asian countries. Spices used in these dishes include (but are not limited to) cumin, coriander, turmeric, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, mustard seeds, chili peppers, etc..
