Amazon Friday Sale

Amazon.com's Friday Sale doesn't seem to have many cooking related deals (some deals aren't really deals):

As usual, there's a bunch of other stuff on sale that may or may not be a bargain.

Since amazon.com's Friday sale seems kind of lame this week, we'll make up for it by watching the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trailer that premiered on amazon.com's site two days ago. Surprisingly, this trailer is unavailable anywhere else and as of few minutes ago is no longer on the Amazon front page and is hard as hell to find within amazon.com themselves.

Leave a comment if this worked for you or doesn't work anymore.

It worked for me just now. It's hard to judge too well from a trailer but it looks like they may have foregone the book's original ironic humour for Hollywood slapstick and flash.

The trailer worked fine. Im interested...but it does not take much to entertain me as I do not own or watch a television. The book is probably better..yes?

Well, I saw the trailer and it does seem a bit full of slapstick. I think the book must be way better. I may see the movie when it comes to video. (I actually mean DVD, but that's what we say, isn't it? Or do kids say, "I'll wait till it comes to DVD" oh, whatever.) :D
