I found a recipe for chicken biryani but I don't understand one of the measuring terms... it calls for "nos" For example, cardamom seeds-
4-5 nos, or tomato- 1 no. I don't know what that means. Can someone help me? |

maybe it's short hand for number... perhaps the recipe calls for 4-5 cardamum seeds and 1 tomato... |

Hi,
I just did a quick search on Google. Might this help you?

no = piece
nos = pieces
example: 1 no (1 piece)
3-4 nos (3-4 pieces) |
