if you cook a meat product in a cast iron skillet. will the iron from the skillet cook into the meat. basically, will you get any iron from the skillet alone

There is definitely some iron transferred from cast iron skillets, pots, and woks onto the food.

Nope, cast iron skillet are build for cooking. There’s only one thing you shouldn’t attempt in cast-iron cookware that is boiling water, which will cause the pan to rust.
