My learned friends, please assist me:
If the results of a stress analysis test of a mechanical design is: 2,206e+008, what would be / how would one calculate or convert that Von Mises result into kilograms of force.

you want to convert 2,206^8 von Mises to kg?
I stand to be corrected, but von Mises defined a specific point in the transition of solids from elastic to plastic behavior.
so far as I know, there is not a "unit" of von Mises..... |
