Had a recipe from 1978-80. It was a NY style cheesecake that had cooked pudding cooled mixed with cream cheese and…have no idea what the recipe is…we lost it. It was in a fancy magazine. Lost it!

there are many 'no bake' recipes using (not precooked) pudding mixes to 'firm up' the cream cheese (thus allowing the 'no bake thing...)

was the pudding added as "all mixed in" or as a layer or as a 'well'?

if you have a good NY style cheese cake recipe, seems it would be simply enough to "insert" the cooled pudding and bake away . . . ?
