heehee. intractable stuff ain't it!
I fold it in halves with a heavy crease, then crease "pointy-up". . . seems to hold it until some weight goes on |

A friend of mine suggested spritzing the counter top with a bit of water and laying the paper on top of that for a few minutes. I have yet to try his method, but it sounds okay.
Yeah, it is great stuff.
As an aside, I don't have TV, so don't watch "homemaker porn" which consists of all the cooking shows, FoodNetwork, etc. One great side effect to this decade long enfatuation has been parchment paper. Used to be you had to spend a fortune for a tiny little roll, now I can get a huge one at Costco for a couple bucks. |

| Hey, the wet counter-top trick works! Just wipe it down with a damp, clean sponge, lay the paper on top and wipe it down as well. Let sit for a minute and peel off and use as usual. |
