Usually when i see the word dice i think of cubes. But when i see something like a chef knife called a chef dicer, i dont understand that. could some one explain that . |

bloggers / ad people simply run out of superlatives.
at that point, unusual words and phrases show up.
it's a cleaver. a flat cutting edge.
Ming Tsai has been demonstrating the excellence of that knife style for 30+ years. |

So there is such a knife called chefs dicer. i never herd dice used this way. |

in cooking, it's part of 'make smaller' - i.e.
chopped
diced
minced |
