First time poster. I'm moving into a new house and I need to buy a range. For regular consumer-type gas ranges in the $500-1000 price range, are there substantial differences between models/options/manufacturers/etc? I've never purchased a range before. Thanks in advance for the advice. |

The August 2007 Consumer Reports has an entire issue on everything in a kitchen. I usually take what they have to say with a grain of salt, but this is worth reading. It is fairly comprehensive, and I found the issue very interesting even though I didn't agree with everything. |
