I'm looking for a brand name that I can find in a local grocery (or liquor) store for raspberry syrup. I believe it is made with brandy, so it definitely isn't Smuckers. The closest I could find with google is the word Framboise, which is French for raspberry. Some sites indicate that this term is used to describe said syrup, others a lambic beer. Any suggestions? |

I have had the lambic beer, which I like, but many beer aficionados may just call it a "candy" beer. A raspberry liquor is Chambord. Are you looking for a raspberry pancake syrup like they might have at IHOP? |

This is something I've had a few times in desserts. Usually with pudding or perhaps an ice cream. It was thick, clear and the liquor added some real pep. I just don't know what it is called or where to find it. |
