Hello all,
Has anyone made Salmon Cakes with fresh Salmon? Do you cook the salmon prior to adding it to the rest of the ingredients OR do you put it in raw mix with other ingredients and then the cooking comes with the frying or baking depending on the method you choose?

Yes, I have and they are quite good. You simply cut the salmon off the skin and cube it, combine with other ingredients (egg, breadcrumbs, etc.) and then saute them in a pan. The only issue is that if the cubes are too large, or there is not enough egg or other ingredients to hold it, they will fall apart. Cool
