We discovered a brilliant way of making lemonade if you have a supply of cheap lemons. There are no fixed measurements which makes it so simple. Below is an example only -

Zest two lemons
Juice a dozen lemons
Measure how much juice you have then put that volume of water and the same volume of white sugar in a SEPARATE container with the lemon zest and bring to boil for 5 minutes.
Allow sugar syrup to go completely cold then add lemon juice
Bottle and use lemonade syrup in ratio of about 1 part to 4 or 5 of chilled water.

One of the beauties of this is its simplicity, the delicious taste and the Vitamin C has not been cooked out of the lemon juice.
