Is it true that a two-blade mezzaluna traps the herbs/vegetables in the middle and may be a nuisance? Is it much better to buy a one-blade mezzaluna?
And if one has a two-bladed one, does one push the trapped herbs then down with the fingers or with a tool?
Thank you very much for your reply.

I bought my single blade version many years ago on a trip to the Mediterranean area. It has since accompanied me everywhere with the kithen gear that I would not like to do without.

A lovely device.

I use it with a flat board... no funny little wooden bowl to try to control at the same time. The double bladed version seems too much trouble. The single bladed version is much simpler to use and rinse off, if need be.

MAkes wonderful tabbouleh. Smile
