Found this site in a desperate atempt to solve my Toffee problems. read that whole page and hopefully it will work this time.

Just cuerious. i keep a dehumidifyer in my kitchen for candy making this time of year (Michigan falls are verry over cast and rainy). What would the ideal humitity setting be for candy making? it's at 35% now cuz I have to let my peanut brittle cool and set and it gets tacky if there is moisture in the air.
