Hello,

I'd like to know your way of writing a recipe.

I quite like the table method* but its not perfect, if there are too many steps with single ingredient it can get ugly long.
I thought about using programmers flowchart, but got no experience with it.

Currently I use chemistry equation method: water+sugar --> where above ingredients is their amount [g] and above and below arrow is the process to do (i.e. heat to t=). It is really clear and easy to follow, but hard to realize on computer. Having my recipes in excel is what I seek.

a programming flow chart is a logic tree of
YES
NO
Other
decisions.

it's completely unsuitable for cooking instructions.

other than to draw boxes with various borders and word wrap text within a box, I don't see how Excel brings anything to the party.

I like the CFE recipe cards and have made some of my own in Excel. I wrote asking for permission to publish in that format and was asked not to.

I'm at a loss as to how Excel "computes" anything in that format

I like to table method when it comes to step by step process. it is more organized and complete.

Plus i love putting some images to visualize the process. it would be more helpful and appealing.

I'm not into writing recipes. Since I loved watching YT cooking tutorials, I'd rather save the video offline and make it as a reference when cooking.
