The class I tutor has been into palindromes lately... check this out:

Transform the following numbers into a palindromic sequence (one that reads the same backwards as forwards) by applying the same formula to all the numbers. What is the formula and what are the resulting numbers?
31, 3, 5, 11, 23, 13

(you can ignore the commas when looking at the sequence as a palindrome)

Ah! After discussing the last puzzle, this one fell into place.

I have to admit, I solved it through pure trial and error.

I won't reveal the answer yet (give it at least a day Smile ), but it's somewhat related to this puzzle

Square each number in the string - the values now read the same forwards and backwards:
961 9 25 121 529 169
