cooking for two, it's not unusual to have left-over onion.

I was ready to buy one of the "onion keepers" when I saw a bunch of negative reviews/comments....

Plan B became re-using the thin plastic bags from fresh produce.... well, not gonna'
spend days washing them out so then came

Plan C:
I've got an assortment of small glass bowls- used mostly for mise-en-place...
but, as onions are darn near perfectly round, as seeing how as the bowl has a tapered diameter, heh, this works great.

trick: leave the onion skin/outer layer on the chunk to be kept. keeps 3-4 days, no prob
