Halwah can refer to many things: an Eastern dessert made from sesame seeds, or a jellied candy/dessert from India. There's also another variety of halwah from India, but I won't elaborate.

So this is my first attempt at making halwah, the jellied kind:

It went horribly wrong, although I used 4 packets of gelatin.

Can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong? I'd rather have your advice than Googling it.

Thanks,

Jim
