lots of info here! I got a terrible sunburn snorkeling in St. Thomas (and yes folks, I did wear sunscreen- 45 spf as it happens). I was in agony, then a helpful waitress handed me a cup of white vinegar and told me to apply it to my back. It worked very well- relieving the stiffness and discomfort greatly. WD
