Pork and Bacon patties are delicious when having a BBQ breakfast.
Simple to make and really filling.
I came up with this recipe to use up some left over meat.

Ingredients:

Equal quantities of pork mince and diced bacon,
1 beaten egg for binding,
pepper to taste.

optional ingredients,
lots of chopped sage leaves
chopped fried onions

Mix the 2 meats together with, fresh ground pepper to taste and the herbs and onions, with the beaten egg.

Take a small amount of the mixture and pan fry it to check the taste, adjust the seasoning if required and try again.

I usually make each pattie about 100grams, but I have made quarter pounder versions in the past.

cook them on your BBQ and enjoy

I am sure that this recipe is open to all sorts of adaptations, but feel free to mess with it.

I may have posted this recipe somewhere before, but my memory is not what it used to be.

Mike.
