Why not just grill the corn? It will taste much better.

Or roast it in the oven. You don't even have to remove the husks. Zero prep and incredibly delicious--can't beat that.

Try cooking it in the mw with the husk on. Three minutes and it's ready to shuck and eat. Moist and sweet.

Simple:
Three or four minutes (I prefer four minutes) in the microwave with no preparation time needed is a good deal quicker than heating up the grill for a single ear of corn, and pretty darned good.
