Have you got the experience in eating in foreign countries? I think, most of people enjoy the delicious food when travelling abroad. when I travelled to san sebastian which is the culinary capital of Spain, there are a lof of food with local and fresh flavor. Also, the people in this city take the meal as a way of meeting with friends relieving stress of work, usually up to six meals a day. Cann't you believe that? tenerife is one way of getting away from sunbath and beach, that is, nightlife can make us feel much refreshed. In addition, the food is s cooked in a traditional ways with international cuisine, the dishes usually accompanied by vegetable stews and fish casseroles.

From my personal experience, it is almost impossible to get 'real' Spanish food in Tenerife. Most of the bog-standard restaurants serve 'European' food - bland, overcooked and catering to no-one.... Oh, except when they do the standard British food - egg n chips, hamburger n chips or an omelette.. Makes me ashamed of the lack of tastebuds on behalf of some of my countrymen, and also ashamed of the Spaniards for serving up that rubbish.

When I think Spanish: I want good paella, great tapas, wonderful pork dishes, great seafood.
