Does anyone have a recipe they can really vouch for? My silken tofu tends to end up in a mush, my meat is a bit dry, my sauce not very nice. There is this funny chinese studenty place where the scary lady hovers over you while you eat but the cook does the best mapo tofu I have ever eaten and it is $6.80 for a huge mountain with rice, AND there is complimentary soup on arrival AND the tea is free and plentiful. Should I even bother?! I would love to make it at home.
