Is anybody really tempted by all the stupid "sexy" advertising on the net? Napster just put out another Napster girl ad (http://www.napstergirl.com)..
. is the target audience really so braindead that that's all it takes to get them to buy into something? Between this crap and all the banner ads with half naked ladies covering my screen while I'm trying to get work done or show my KIDS something, I'm sufficiently annoyed and turned off.

Yeah, I agree. The napster ad is kind of humorous, but some of these legitamite dating service ads taht show up while you're trying to read the news or using the web in general almost makes it seem like you're always on the verge of surfing porn sites. It does grab the attention, but it is incredibly annoying. Plus, what type of people are they trying to attract? I can't remember which dating ad I saw recently, but I was thinking, who would want to use that site since they are advertising with bikini clad girls - they're just going to get a bunch of horny guys looking for a hook up instead of quality customers... but maybe I'm wrong.

something that I can answer! awesome! as a 30 year old typical male, I will tell you that it has become so common now that its become an annoyance regardless of how good looking the women are, to the point where I know I dont look at ANY ads anymore. I "x" them all out without ever even looking. Maybe the marketing people think we're all that stupid because they themselves are too stupid to come up with original ideas.
