Question:

when you say fenugreek, do you mean fresh leaves or dried seeds? is there such a thing as fenugreek leaf powder?

Thanks.

there seems to be virtually everything in this dish. I'm surprised it needed 'korma sauce', and poatoes and tomatoes, and very surprised the beef is minced, and cooked in water. This is not any kind of 'curry' that I am familiar with. South Indian curries, generally are less complicated than their North Indian counterparts, and differ by using coconut, curry leaves and fewer spices. As to what kind of dish it is defies analysis.

It is interesting to note that Kerala is the only state in India where beef can be purchased, in every other state, it is water buffalo.
cheers
