I found a recipe for chicken biryani but I don't understand one of the measuring terms... it calls for "nos" For example, cardamom seeds-
4-5 nos, or tomato- 1 no. I don't know what that means. Can someone help me?

Hi,

I just did a quick search on Google. Might this help you?

Quote:
Foodstuffs, dry, NOS (applies to foodstuffs for human consumption only).

no = piece
nos = pieces

example: 1 no (1 piece)
3-4 nos (3-4 pieces)
