I would have to have a serious discussion with the voices in my head because the nice thing to do would be to give it to my mother in law that reminded me of my love of cooking but I want to keep it for myself.

Absolutely myself as I make a ton of candy every year for Christmas, giving most of it away to friends/family, and the left overs to the local food shelter for Christmas presents. I like to make the best, and having an accurate thermometer takes me to that realm.
