Can anyone recommend a good brand for a hand-held rotary grater? Took me forever to grate some Parmesan last night and I think I'd use it for more than just cheese.

(Don't have the right blade for the Cuisinart, and I think a hand-held would be more, ahem, handy)

I've been watching with interest.....

fresh grated (any number of cheese types) beats the living daylights out of the packaged stuff.

for two, I've managed with a decent OXO box grater, but having seen the crank types, I could go there . . . .

Me too! I'm going downtown today, so will stop by Sur leTable (never knew the original store was here n Seattle!) and see what they recommend. Either that, or I'll blow $30.00 on a blade for the Cuisinart.
