Biggles, you're back!! Missed your company...

I like winey, fruity, acidic light roasts, and the best beans for that are Kenyan, Tanzanian Peaberry, and plain old Colombian arabica.

MJB used to make a lightly roasted Colombian which I'd buy in can, but after a couple or three takeovers they followed the route of Starbucks and just burn bad beans.

For espresso (I have a machine) I don't think you can beat Lavazza Black Can. At about $12 a pound, delivered, it's the finest overall light roast I've ever drank.

Disclaimer: I don't work for these guys, but they've been good over the years.

My favorite has to be Blue Mountain. It reminds me of my honeymoon in Negril. Every morning I would have a pot delivered to our room and I would sit outside and enjoy the cool breeze and the birds chirping and the waves lapping against the beach. As far as everyday coffee, I think the 8 O'Clock coffee is pretty good. I get the whole bean and grind it fresh every morning. I'd like to try roasting my own. That sounds kind of fun. I need to find some coupons for coffee beans.

Me, too--love those African varietals. You should try Rwandan beans if you come across them.

I favourite one is green coffee. It contains the chlorogenic acid that help us to reduce the weight. The drink works by reducing sugar absorption from the gut and speeding up the rate at which fat is burned. The Experiment found that drinking one cup a day lost 3.5 pounds in two weeks.

Great question - for me it has to be in the morning only and strong, smooth, not sweet - no milk or sugar.

Did anyone try the brand Lavazza?

It is my absolute favorite coffee brand!!

It is smooth, it is tasty and it is a strong flavor.

Depends on which blend. Black Can is my favorite. Just ordered a couple cases on Friday!

I don't have one favorite but one of the best I have tried is Costa Rican Tres Rios. It is very rich and aromatic but with lower than average acidity. I prefer to buy whole bean and grind it myself. I love a press to make my coffee.
