I guess we've all - against our better judgement - put a pie in the microwave to heat it - and the results are generally appalling (yuck!). So, today's question is - is there a pastry that can be made that "works" in the microwave? That doesn't become like rubber? or soggy? or just plain awful?
If so, does anyone have a recipe for such a thing? |

There are some product out there in the market that are instant. I can suggest Apple Strudel here are the ingredients:
1/2 of any pastry sheets. (Puff Pastry Sheets)
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons raisins |
