I have a marble rolling pin that rolled off the counter onto the floor, and now it has a crack in it. It's not a gaping crack making the rolling pin useless, but just a hairline crack that you can only see if you look.

My question is, is it safe to continue using the rolling pin, or do I risk harboring bacteria in the crack?
